Ho Ho Ho!! Merry Christmas

All of the cousin's on the Johnson side. This was a first time in a LONG time that we were all in the same place at the same time! What a blessing

Getting ready for Christmas Eve dinner

What a wonderful Christmas we have had! It all started on Christmas Eve day when Luke and I went to visit Justin at work. He got to see everyone and did all of his tricks for them! He was such a good little boy. We then came home and finished wrapping gifts while watching White Christmas. After Justin got home, we went over to Grammy and Papa's house for dinner and gifts. We were sad to miss church, but really weren't sure what the weather was going to do, so we decided that the less we were on the roads the better. We had a great dinner and Luke was spoiled rotten. It was such a nice relaxing evening with family. We decided that we love the new tradition and can't wait to see the Tallys and Browns on Sunday. After we left there, we went to Mam and Grandpa's for the Johnson Christmas Eve festivities. Luke got to see a bunch of family and friends. We played a couple of rounds of Mexican Train dominos and decided it was time to go because of the weather and SANTA was coming! Got home, laid out cookies and hit the hay! We woke up to a WHITE CHRISTMAS! Holy cow! It snowed A LOT! Santa came and left Luke a wagon. Mom and Dad got him a swing and the Laugh and Learn Farm. He enjoyed all of his gifts. Justin and I then got the car loaded and Luke all bundled up, only to get stuck in the street right in front of our driveway. So 45 minutes later, Justin and got the car back in the garage and Mam and Grandpa came to the rescue in their 4-wheel drive sleigh! Thank goodness Mam got that new mini-van! After the treacherous mile drive to their house, we opened more gifts (Luke loves his new mirror stage thing!) and ate Monkey Bread. Luke decided it was time for a nap, so Justin and I took my parents van back to our house to get ready. In the afternoon we headed over to Great Uncle Bennie Joe and Great Aunt Kristin's house for a good ol' fashioned family Christmas! Everyone was there! We ate, opened more gifts (seriously, we have a very generous family!), watched Christmas movies, and played more Mexican Train Dominos! It was a great day! We couldn't have asked for a better first Christmas for Luke. We hope you all had a wonderful day and remembered what this day is all about! Thank you Lord for giving us your only son so that we may have ours!! MERRY CHRISTMAS!
